About the politics
I set out to make Intentional Consequences fun, pointed and provocative, regardless of your political point of view. It’s a “purple” book, intended to offer equal offense to each party’s base. The characters live in a world swirling with current news, events, people and cliches you’ll recognize. If you don’t like one character’s politics or morals, stand by for the next one. If a character’s comments make you smile or frown, that’s good. You’ve taken the bait and you’re engaged.
The story is fiction, but the underlying issues are real. Many of them are affecting and endangering the future of American democracy. Meet the author
Charles Harris writes vivid real-world fiction that unleashes his characters into the emerging social, political and technological changes that are altering who we are and how we live. Driven by years of experience as a business lawyer, professor, investment banker and CEO of publicly traded technology and financial companies, he uses meticulous research, action-packed plot twists and suspense to bring his characters and settings to life. Charlie has a degree in political science from the University of Florida and a law degree from the Harvard Law School.
